No 5's post does little to convince anyone a 207 GTI is as or more reliable than an Integra Type R (which the 207 should be, of course). Not sure when I said it was more reliable than any other car. I simply stated my experience with it and like most cars, some of the common problems they can have.

All transmissions suffer their greatest torque reactions changing from 1st to 2nd gears so these are the first to go. I have a 2008 Peugeot 207 gti 1.6 thp. The car seems to have lost a bit of guts lately and I have now got depollution system faulty warning with a check engine light. The turbo is vacuum controlled and there is a canister down the back of engine this stores vacuum and if ANY of the pipes come off or are split you loose boost the control solenoid also lives there costs nothing to check or fix this issue other than time all the fault codes are thrown up BECAUSE of the lack of boost generally they are not the
